Singing
Her creative journey began during her early years, as she embarked on classical training in both American and Hindustani Indian classical singing styles from the age of 5. One of her most remarkable accomplishments was her participation on international television, where she was one of the top 14 finalists on Zee TV's SGRMP Lil Champs, also known to be the Indian equivalent of American Idol!
Content Creation
In 2020, she ventured into content creation on TikTok and Instagram, showcasing her comedic videos and relatable South Asian sketches. Her audience has grown, with nearly 300,000 followers on TikTok and over 10,000 on Instagram. Among her significant achievements, she collaborated with another prominent South Asian content creator Sri and successfully completed an entire season of a podcast titled "Double Disappointments," which humorously yet emotionally explores their experiences as immigrant daughters and women of color. Additionally, her content caught the attention of Snapchat, which featured her in an episode during their AAPI month show titled “As I Am”, spotlighting Asians in the creative sphere. Her most recent project was modeling and being the face for a blush campaign of South Asian-owned makeup company "Samreen's Vanity."
Acting
As her journey unfolded, she delved into the realm of acting. Among her notable accomplishments is a supporting role in the anticipated comedy film "Doin it," sharing the screen with luminaries such as Lilly Singh and Stephanie Beatriz. This recently had its world premiere at South by Southwest in March 2024.
